Quix

Terms of Service

Effective date: 30 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 30 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Quix”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Quix mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By downloading or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Quix lets you describe an app in plain language and uses AI to generate a small, self-contained app that runs on your device. You can edit, run, sync, and optionally publish those apps to other Quix users. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may use the Service with an anonymous session, but some features require an email-based account.

4. Credits, subscriptions, and billing

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create, request, host, or distribute content that:

Automated safety checks screen generation requests and may block or refuse a request. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Apps you create

As between you and Quix, you own the apps you generate and the content you put into them, subject to the rights of any third party and to these Terms. You are solely responsible for the apps you create and for how you and your users use them, including compliance with applicable laws (for example, privacy, consumer-protection, and accessibility laws).

7. Publishing to the marketplace

If you publish an app, you grant Quix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that app and its listing (title, description, icon) to other users through the Service. You represent that you have the rights to grant this licence. You can delist or delete a published app at any time; copies already installed by other users may remain on their devices. We may remove, delist, or refuse any published app that we believe violates these Terms or creates risk for users or for us.

8. AI output

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, or unsuitable for your purpose, and similar prompts may produce similar output for different users. Output is provided “as is”. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any app before relying on it or distributing it. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice.

9. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the Quix name, logo, app runtime, UI, and underlying software — is owned by Quix and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding except as needed to use the Service normally.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (including Apple, Google, Supabase, DeepSeek, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, and Sentry). Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable app-store terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold Quix harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, the apps you create or publish, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service becomes impractical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in [JURISDICTION] will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
